A 22-year-old boy killed himself at his girlfriend’s residence in Kulasekaram on Thursday.
According to police, the deceased identified as D. Dhanush was a native of Cheruppaloor in Kanniyakumari district. He was currently working in Coimbatore, while his family resides in Tiruchi. Upon discovering the incident, the girl’s parents immediately alerted the police.
Following the information, Kulasekaram police recovered the body and sent it for post mortem examination at Government Medical College and Hospital in Asaripallam.
A case has been registered at Kulasekaram police station. According to a press release issued by the Kanniyakumari district police on Friday, preliminary investigation and post mortem report revealed that there was no suspicious circumstances surrounding the youth’s death and further investigations were on.
