
A new train service between Kozhikode and Palakkad that began its trial run from the Kozhikode Railway Station on Monday morning.

Kozhikode: A new day train connecting Kozhikode and Palakkad began its trial run on Monday. This comes against the backdrop of the consistent demand from passengers.
According to railway officials, the special unreserved express train has 18 coaches. It will begin its journey from Kozhikode at 10.10 a.m. and reach Palakkad at 1.05 p.m. In the return journey, it will start from Palakkad at 1.50 p.m., reach Kozhikode at 5.35 p.m., and stop the service at Kannur at 7.40 p.m. The trial run will be on till September 15. On Saturdays, the service will end at Shoranur.
