A 21-year-old sales executive of a private company died after she fell from the 13th floor of an under-construction building in Rayasandra in Bengaluru’s Parappana Agarahara on Monday.
The deceased has been identified as Nandini, a native of Chittoor, Andhra Pradesh, who was working as a sales executive at a super market, and staying in a paying guest accommodation in the city. According to the police, Nandini, along with her friends, had gone to the under-construction site to party, where they consumed alcohol. One of her friends who was later tracked down, told the police that Nandini tried to record reels and in the melee, lost balance and slipped from the 13th floor before falling to her death.
Fearing severe consequences, her friends ran away, leaving her body in a pool of blood. Passers-by informed the police, who rushed to the spot and shifted the body before taking up the investigations. Probe revealed that the friends who accompanied her included a girl and two boys.
While police were able to track down the girl, the boys are still on the run, and efforts are underway to find them, the authorities said.
