School Education Minister Anbil Mahesh Poyyamozhi on Tuesday urged Chief Education Officers to conduct regular field visits and hold review meetings to improve the results in their districts.
At the conclusion of the two-day review meeting with district officials the Minister said, “The district-level, State-level Achievement Survey has been provided to the Primary Education Officers, and they must hold special programs and training in areas where learning outcomes have declined. Training to the teachers regarding this has to be carried out.”
Addressing media persons, he said that he has advised the officials in districts with low pass rates to identify reasons and take appropriate action to increase the pass rate in the current academic year.
