Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee president Y.S. Sharmila concludes Statewide tour to strengthen party 

Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee president Y.S. Sharmila on June 29, Sunday, concluded her Statewide tour, aimed at strengthening the party at the grassroot level, after participating in the district-level meeting in Machilipatnam.

According to a release from the party, the leaders deliberated on the steps to be taken to strengthen the party in the State. Noting that except for Congress, all other parties have formed either direct or indirect alliances with the Bharatiya Janata Party, the Congress leaders said it is only their party that can fight the BJP and can stand in support of people.

The tour began on June 9.
