First-year orientation program
On Day 1 (June 13) of orientation program, chief guest, Raju Radhakrishnan, vice-president of Neeyamo Enterprise Solutions Pvt. Ltd., Madurai, delivered a speech. He emphasised the importance of teamwork, adaptability, and maintaining a positive attitude. on On Day 2 (June 14), chief guest A. Satishkumar, General Manager at TVS Supply Chain Solutions, addressed the students. He advised the students to be self-directed individuals. Secretary and Director of MRCAS T. Kalaiselvan urged parents to engage in daily conversations with their children. Dean N. Asokan advised the students to enter college with clear vision. They should set a goal for what they are going to do on June 14, 2028. Principal M. Padmavathi welcomed all, who had gathered at the program. The session also included presentations on MKU policies, examination systems, and the MRCAS EDGE and SPAA initiatives. Vice-principal and Head of Commerce K. Aruna, and Head of Tamil B. Revathi contributed to these segments. K. Aruna proposed vote of thanks.

Environmental Protector Award
The Tamil Nadu Climate Change Mission presented the ‘Environmental Protector Award’ to the correspondent S. Mohammed Idris of Al-Ameen Higher Secondary School in K. Pudur for promoting environmental awareness. The award was handed over by Madurai Revenue Divisional Officer (RDO) Shalini. Students have been encouraged to avoid plastic and use cloth bags instead, and seed balls were given to them. The school has taken steps to clean local water bodies, including the Kosakulam and Gandhipuram sluices, said Headmaster Sheikh Nabi. “The school supported the Chief Minister’s ‘Meendum Manjappai’ scheme. It has further named the trees on its campus to help students connect with and learn about nature,” he added.

Graduation Day at Madura College
The chief guest Krishnaswamy Sundararajan, former Director of Quality, Greater Asia, delivered the graduation day address at the Madura College. On the occasion, he distributed diplomas to over 1100 graduates and postgraduates. Principal J. Suresh welcomed the gathering. Secretary of the Madura College S. Natanagopal introduced the chief guest to the forum and highlighted the importance of education and discipline. President of the MCB S. Seetharaman , vice-president S. Sankaran , Joint secretary S. Parthasarathy, Treasurer N. Anand Srinivasan , chief coordinator I. Nagarajan and others graced the occasion. The secretary of Madura College Alumni Association proposed the vote of thanks.
