About 133.8 kg of ganja seized in several cases registered across various police stations within the Karimnagar Police Commissionerate limits was destroyed at the incineration facility at Edulagattepalli village in Manakondur mandal on Wednesday.
According to a press release, the ganja was incinerated under the supervision of Karimnagar Police Commissioner Gaush Alam.
The contraband was destroyed under the aegis of the Drug Disposal Committee in compliance with the provisions of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act.
