Smoke in coach creates panic among train passengers

Smoke in one of the coaches of train no. 05951 SMVT – New Tinsukia Special Fare Summer Special train gave a scare to passengers as it spread all over the coach on Monday evening. The smoke started entering the coach, when the train was near Anakapalli, and passengers alerted the railway officials.

The train was stopped and thoroughly checked at Duvvada railway station, where it has a halt, and allowed to proceed after the check. The smoke was caused by brake binding and there is no cause for worry, said railway sources.
